Christmas lists
Happy holidays, everyone!
The last couple weeks have been a whirlwind of holiday festivities: staff Christmas dinners, get-togethers with friends visiting from out-of-town, venturing outdoors on our one and only snowday, holiday house parties, family brunches, family dinners, my building’s annual holiday apartment crawl.
Cooking, baking, eating, drinking, conversing. Repeat.
Food and drink have been prepared, consumed, shared, and stored in excess. So much running around, catching up, moving along while trying to appreciate all this time spent with loved ones. Getting excited by other people’s stories, feeling hopeful for them and all their plans. Relishing in the thought of more leisure to be had in 2014.

I would think so, Milena. Most people have overlapping "days off" during the holidays, making it easier to coordinate these social interactions which I wanted to integrate in my leisure hiatus, even if it's as simple as sharing a meal.
